YAPITAL
When Yapital, a bold new mobile payment platform out of Germany, set out to challenge industry giants like PayPal, they needed more than just a product—they needed a brand with vision, voice, and velocity.
Initially brought in to help pitch the business as freelance for a startup, I played a key role in securing the account. Following the win, I was appointed Chief Creative Officer and Executive Creative Director, tasked with building Bulldog’s creative and production team from scratch and shaping Yapital’s brand identity from the ground up. From strategy to execution, I wore many hats—writer, art director, producer, UX developer, art buyer—to ensure every touchpoint reflected Yapital’s bold ambition and user-first ethos. I developed the brand’s voice and visual language, and led the creation of:

-
Consumer and business websites with intuitive UX and clean, modern design
-
Email campaigns, brochures, and trade-show booths that drove engagement and conversion
-
Brand launch and animated explainer videos that explained and simplified complex tech for everyday users
-
Billboards and digital ads that made a splash across Europe
-
And a full suite of online communications that positioned Yapital as a serious contender in the mobile payments space
This wasn’t just a creative challenge—it was a brand-building mission. From pitch to platform, I helped turn Yapital from a startup into a standout challenger brand that was a pioneer in QR code utilization.
